Conference

The 3rd Conference had a distinguished panel of guests who debated about home hospitalization issues from a clinical, economic, political, fiscal and social point of view.

The need to take concrete actions towards the improvement of home care was the main discussion. To promote literacy, create educational policies and the role of health professionals and the advantages of home hospitalization were some of the taken conclusions.

Home Hospitalization Survey

The Survey on Home Hospitalization sought to produce exploratory data about this theme among the portuguese population. The purpose of this survey was to promote knowledge about home care and thus raise awareness and draw attention to this issue.

The sample under analysis is random and consisted of 746 valid questionnaires. The universe of the survey is the population resident in Portugal and aged over 16 years.
